Similar to my U10 team, I ended up sharing ice three ways with the U12 group as well. So, we had a big roster, small ice space, but a great group of players. The challenge was to keep them moving at a good tempo, teach them the fundamental skills and positioning elements they needed, and to do it all in a half-ice or quarter-ice station. 

I got creative, and pushed myself as a coach, and we had a great year, winning multiple championships with the U12's too.
